Cowfold res lost for the first  time in the league this season to what can only be described as a very strong Holbrook 1st team (sorry i mean  res team). With Holbrook making 9 changes to their squad  from the game 3 weeks ago and Fold missing 5 key players  it was always  going to be hard going . Fold started the better of the sides and should have gone in front in the 10 minute but Harry Williams failed to make any connection at the back post after a few more half chances for the  Fold they were made to pay after failing to clear their lines the ball fell nicely for the Holbrook forward whose shot was  deflected past James  Rafferty in the Fold goal . Dean Robinson and Graham Light had good chances to level before the break but it just was 1 of them days. Fold started the 2^nd half well trying to get back into the game but the Holbrook back line held firm,  Fold did find the net with 10 to go but it was ruled out for  off side close call but the right 1 .

 It was Just one of them days spooner added at the final whistle but also if Holbrook had tht side every week they would be up with us at the top of the table .
