Sportsmanship Honour Print E-mail
Cowfold FC were awarded a coveted sportsmanship honour by the Horsham Referee's Society last week. Cowfold's first XI collected the Sportsmanship Honour for last season from the Horsham Referee's Society. The well respected local branch of the Referee's Association of England and Wales makes the award each season. The Club Sportsmanship award is based on marks by local referees after each match. The award reflects a whole season's outstanding performance by the receiving team. Manager Steve Whiting was on hand to accept the trophy on behalf of his team from society chairman Mike Barron.
